Meet Darlene Johnson, Owner & Creator

Hello! I’m Darlene Johnson, the Founder and Lead Creator behind D’Marie Inspirational Designs. Born and raised in Detroit, my journey into jewelry making is deeply personal and rooted in the strength of my community, family, and unexpected inspiration.

My story began quite spontaneously in 2020. I was helping my beloved aunt, who is also a talented jewelry maker, pack up for a move. As a heartfelt gesture, she passed along a generous collection of jewelry-making supplies to me. I took those materials and quickly discovered a passion I never knew I had!

In 2021, I officially launched D’Marie Inspirational Designs. The name itself is a tribute to the person who set me on this path: my incredible aunt, Dale Marie Pitts. Every piece I create carries that legacy of love and the spirit of inspiration.

While I love designing all kinds of accessories, I specialize in custom bracelets—creating unique, meaningful pieces tailored just for you. My collection includes necklaces and earrings, and I proudly design for women, men, and kids because I believe everyone deserves a little sparkle and a lot of encouragement.

My goal is simple: to create pieces that serve as beautiful, wearable affirmations.
